1. Solid Forming
Solid forming processing: refers to the use of raw materials such as metal products, sheets, and other solid forms that can be shaped at room temperature. Belongs to labor-intensive production. The input of processing costs can be relatively low.
Classification of solid forming processing
Spinning: A very common processing method used to produce circular symmetrical components, such as plates, cups, and cones. During processing, the high-speed rotating metal plate is pushed closer to the fixed model on the rotating lathe to obtain a predetermined shape. This process is suitable for various batch forms of production.
Bending: An economical production process used to process any form of sheet, rod, or tubular materials.
Continuous binding molding: feeding metal sheets between pressure rollers to obtain a metal shape with continuous length and consistent cross-section. Similar to extrusion technology, but with limitations on the wall thickness of processed components, only a single wall thickness can be obtained. Only under the premise of mass production, the processing cost is the most reasonable.
2. Stamping forming
The metal products are placed between the male and female molds and pressed into shape for processing hollow shapes, with depths ranging from deep to shallow.
Punching: The process of using special tools to punch and cut a certain shape on a metal sheet can be applied to mass production of all sizes.
Punching: Similar to the punching process, the difference is that the former utilizes the punching part, while the latter utilizes the remaining part of the metal sheet after punching.
Cutting: Cutting metal sheets by cutting is the same as cutting paper from the best position with a pair of scissors.
Chip forming: When cutting metal, the cutting method of chip production is collectively referred to as chip forming, including milling, drilling, lathe processing, as well as grinding, sawing, and other processes.
Chip free molding: Utilize existing metal products for molding. No chip generation. This type of process includes chemical processing, corrosion, discharge machining, sandblasting, laser cutting, water jet cutting, and thermal cutting.
