Common welding methods for stainless steel polishing materials
Release date:2022-07-01
The use of stainless steel polishing is becoming increasingly common, both in daily life and production, so a deeper understanding of it is needed. This article explores the commonly used welding methods for stainless steel polishing materials.
Firstly, manual welding is required. Manual welding is a particularly common and commonly used welding method, which is also easy to operate and convenient to use. The length of the arc can be adjusted reasonably by the operator manually, and the adjustment is based on the gap between the welding electrode and the workpiece to be welded, and the length of the arc is adjusted according to the size of the gap. Welding rods can not only be used as tools for welding stainless steel materials, but also as an effective filler material for welding seams under certain circumstances. And this material can better connect stainless steel workpieces and achieve better compatibility.
Secondly, metal electrode gas shielded welding. Metal gas shielded arc welding is an automatic gas shielded arc welding. In the process of using this method, the arc undergoes combustion welding between the welding wire and the stainless steel workpiece under the constraint of protective gas. The welding wires fed by mechanical welding equipment are welding rods that melt into liquid stainless steel through an arc. Given the versatility and specificity of MAG welding, it is the most widely used welding method in the stainless steel welding industry today. Moreover, due to its multiple advantages, it must also be a widely used welding method for a long time.
Again, tungsten inert gas shielded welding. In this usage method, the arc is generated on stable tungsten welding wires and stainless steel workpieces. The protective gas used for this type of welding is argon, and the welding wire fed by automatic welding equipment is not charged. The welding wire can also be manually fed, but there is a certain degree of danger. Under certain conditions, it is not necessary to send welding wires, and the stainless steel material that needs to be welded determines whether to use direct current. If direct current is used, the tungsten welding wire must be set as the negative electrode because its own welding penetration ability is very strong, and it has good welding effects for various types of stainless steel.
